Local Rate:
$47•50/hour ($1,762•1,875/week)
Schedule:
40 Hours per Week Day Shift 8:00 AM•4:30 PM or 8:30 AM•5:00 PM Position Overview Seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to perform high-quality clinical laboratory testing in a physician office laboratory setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently at times, ensuring accurate testing, documentation, and timely communication of critical results. Requirements Associate's degree in Science OR completion of accredited MLT program preferred ASCP or NCA certification preferred Minimum 2 years of clinical laboratory experience preferred Ability to work independently in a physician office lab setting Strong communication skills in English required Recent Core Lab experience preferred Epic Beaker experience is a plus Required Skills & Experience Clinical Laboratory Testing (Chemistry, Hematology, and Core Lab procedures) Specimen Collection (Venous & Capillary Blood Draws) Sample Processing and Packaging Instrument Calibration and Maintenance Quality Control & Quality Assurance Procedures Critical Value Reporting Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) CLIA Compliance Procedures Inventory Management and Supply Ordering Proficiency Testing Participation Key Responsibilities Perform and document laboratory testing accurately and efficiently Collect and process patient specimens (blood and body fluids) Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment Perform routine quality control and maintenance checks Communicate critical lab values to providers in a timely manner Maintain compliance with CLIA, state regulations, and laboratory protocols Ensure proper specimen handling, labeling, and transport Assist with training and orientation of new staff or students Maintain clean and safe laboratory work environment Support continuous quality improvement initiatives For more details reach at jknox@navitashealth.com
