Non-Exempt Position Summary:
The Laboratory Technician will assist across various areas in the lab. The Lab Tech will gain exposure to bottling, inventory, safety, and other functions in a laboratory environment.Key Responsibilities:
Assist in filling and packaging of products, which may include automated instruments. Proper and detailed labeling of products. Work with Scientists and Technicians to perform routine laboratory tasks and maintenance. Assist in washing, cleaning, and maintenance of reusable materials and/or instruments. Perform periodic inventory on packaging materials and/or replacement parts. Learn, perform proper handling of, and waste collection of Acids and Bases and other biohazards. Contributes towards accurate production records, maintenance logs, inspections, temperature records, water systems, Supports and complies with onsite safety program and notifies supervisor of any safety hazards. Supports the development, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Antylia Quality Management System. Other duties as assigned, including cross functionally across our small site.Education:
Pursuing a Life Science degree or equivalent industry experience and/or combo of education.Qualifications:
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Ability to support team in executing various projects and assignments. Ability to prioritize tasks, with strong attention to detail. Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and move supplies that may weigh up to 50lbs. Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressure, within deadlines or other time essential constraints. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to communicate to all levels of the organization clearly and concisely. Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization.Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range:
$20-$23/hr, depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
