Anatomical Pathology Laboratory (outpatient clinic)

Type:

Temporary to permanent

Shift:

Mon-Fri 1pm•9.30pm or 2pm•10.30pm Essential functions: Receive specimens and ensure proper identification and documentation with patient demographics and test orders Process tissue specimens received in formalin fixative for surgical pathology accessioning Enter specimen information accurately into the laboratory information system (LIS) Verify specimen labeling and patient information with strong attention to detail Store specimens properly in appropriate containers and storage environments Follow quality control protocols and safety guidelines during specimen processing Communicate with pathologists, technicians, and healthcare professionals regarding specimen handling Identify and resolve issues related to specimen processing, labeling, or collection errors

Requirements:
