Part-Time Laboratory Technician (Potential for Full-Time)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to support daily clinical laboratory operations. This part-time position has the potential to transition to full-time based on performance and operational needs.

Responsibilities:

Receive and evaluate specimens for acceptance or rejection Accession samples and perform data entry into the laboratory information system Label and aliquot specimens according to laboratory protocols Process samples for testing (e.g., serum, whole blood) Store and manage specimens in designated refrigerators/freezers Maintain accurate documentation and sample tracking Follow laboratory quality standards and regulatory requirements, including Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) and College of American Pathologists (CAP) guidelines Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace

Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Biology, or related field preferred Prior laboratory experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to follow laboratory protocols and regulatory standards Ability to become a team player

From $20.00 per hour
