About Us Engineering Testing, LLC is a specialized forensic engineering and materials testing laboratory. We support clients who entrust us with sensitive and confidential information, and we maintain strict confidentiality in all examinations, documentation, evidence handling, and testing services. Position Overview We are seeking an individual who is eager to learn , reliable , and brings a strong mechanical aptitude to our team. The ideal candidate enjoys hands‑on work, takes initiative, and can develop practical, innovative solutions in a technical environment. This role offers hands‑on experience across multiple areas of engineering and materials testing, including: Forensic engineering lab examinations Evidence handling and chain‑of‑custody procedures Mechanical testing of materials Metallography and sample preparation Microscopy and imaging Customer service and client communication Key Responsibilities Perform mechanical and physical tests on a variety of materials Assist with forensic examinations and documentation Prepare and analyze metallographic samples Operate hand tools, power tools, and other laboratory equipment Maintain accurate records while following confidentiality protocols Support evidence intake, storage, and handling procedures Communicate professionally with clients and internal team members What We're Looking For Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools/equipment Curiosity and willingness to learn new technical skills Reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive work style Ability to follow procedures and maintain confidentiality Clear communication and professionalism with clients and colleagues No prior lab experience required — we will train the right candidate
Pay:
$15.00 - $25.00 per hour
