Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Sleep Equipment Specialist, where your expertise will directly enhance patient comfort and health outcomes. In this vital role, you will be responsible for assessing patients' sleep needs, fitting and educating them on home sleep tests , and ensuring optimal device performance. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high volume, patient-centered environment dedicated to advancing sleep medicine. Home Sleep Test Duties Program and prepare HST devices in alignment with established clinical protocols. Train patients to use HST device. Upload, review, and verify study data; escalate unscorable or incomplete studies per workflow. Clean, disinfect, recharge, and inventory HST devices and associated supplies. Assist in monitoring and reducing unreturned device rates. Accurately pick, pack, and ship outgoing HST kits Ensure each kit is complete and includes return shipping materials Assist with inventory tracking of devices Report inventory discrepancies, shortages, or damaged items Provide clear instructions and expectations to patients regarding pickup, device use, and return.
Meet daily productivity expectations:
30 outbound calls/day and 15 completed scheduled appointments/day. Office Administrative Duties Answer calls as needed, faxing patient reports, inputting patient intake information into eHR system. Identify and escalate workflow issues, patient barriers, or unusual trends. Requirements Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively about device use and treatment plans Knowledge of sleep disorders, including obstructive sleep apnea and other common conditions Ability to work in fast paced, high volume office 1+ year experience in fulfillment, healthcare, or regulated production preferred Experience with Home Sleep Testing, DME, sleep labs, medical assistant roles, or sterile processing is a strong plus but not required Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to follow written procedures (SOPs) exactly as written Comfortable working in a structured, compliance-driven environment Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks High school diploma or equivalent required Join us in making a meaningful difference by helping individuals achieve better sleep health!
