Summary:

The Grossing Technician role is responsible for performing work including macroscopic gross description, dissection and processing of designated surgical specimens. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education:

Associate or Bachelor's Degree in a biological, chemical, physical science, or medical laboratory field of study required.

License/Certifications:

Certification as a Pathologist Assistant, Histotechnician or Histotechnologist by recognized professional organization preferred. Valid Driver's license required.

Experience:

Experience completing surgical gross examinations preferred.

May be asked to work at other sites/locations as needed.
