Summary:
The Grossing Technician role is responsible for performing work including macroscopic gross description, dissection and processing of designated surgical specimens. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)Education:
Associate or Bachelor's Degree in a biological, chemical, physical science, or medical laboratory field of study required.License/Certifications:
Certification as a Pathologist Assistant, Histotechnician or Histotechnologist by recognized professional organization preferred. Valid Driver's license required.Experience:
Experience completing surgical gross examinations preferred.Additional Skills/Requirements Required:
