Must uphold the standards of the Quality Management System. This position reports to the Lab Supervisor. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Conduct all lab activities in accordance with
A2LA, ISO/IEC
17025 and the Applied Lab Quality Management System Review orders for missing information, yardage requirements, etc. Set up, adjust and operate equipment and testing instruments properly, per equipment SOPs Cut specimens for testing and attach or complete appropriate paperwork. Prepare yardage for subcontracting of tests, as appropriate Stage specimens and consumables for conditioning Conduct testing and evaluation of internal and external customer-supplied materials to determine overall testing results in an accurate and timely manner, communicating to Lab Supervisor any relevant observations such as test anomalies, outlier or abnormal behavior of material or other factors as appropriate Fill out all test documentation accurately, following Good Laboratory Practices for mistake corrections Upon request, record videos or take photos of tests Participate in interlaboratory comparisons, testing / retesting of retained items, proficiency testing and the peer review audit process Identify and communicate to Lab Supervisor opportunities for preventative actions Initiate non-conforming and / or corrective action process, as appropriate Maintain a safe and clean working environment Train new staff members on tests as required Responsible for supporting the company's vision and mission Contributes to a work environment that fosters pride in being part of a winning team and promotes personal growth Perform other duties as neededRequirements:
