Lab Tech- 2nd Shift

ACI Plastics is a plastics recycler processing more than 50 million lbs. a year with facilities located in Michigan, South Carolina, Nebraska. We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starter possessing a quality mindset to join our team as a Plant Lab Technician at our Flint, MI location. Plastics testing experience is a plus as well as some experience in a production environment Must be self motivated and able to work with little to no supervision Basic computer(MS Office) and math skills are required Previous quality experience with

ISO/ASTM

procedures is beneficial to this position but not required Valid Driver's License Able to learn inspection procedures and material identification Must be able to follow directions and adhere to company policies Great attendance is essential for this role Willing to train the right candidate The Lab Technician is responsible for the following Inspection of in-process material and final product Gathering and molding of samples

ISO/ASTM

Property testing of materials Issuing non-conformance reports and updating logs Participating in projects and R&D Data logging and watching trend reports Keeping the lab and equipment clean Monday - Friday 3pm to 11:30pm Weekends as needed.
