Full Job Description Job Description:
The Laboratory Technician supports analytical testing operations by performing experiments, operating advanced instrumentation, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced team environment while maintaining accurate data and laboratory records.
Responsibilities:
Analytical Testing:
Perform laboratory tests following SOP, QC, ASTM, or related procedures.
Equipment Operation:
Operate and maintain instruments such as
ICP, IC, XRF, SEM, GC
‑FID, and HPLC.
Data Review:
Analyze results for quality trends and prepare accurate reports.
Documentation:
Utilize Microsoft Office and LIMS for data entry, reporting, and record keeping.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow safe laboratory practices when handling toxic chemicals; adhere to quality procedures.
Housekeeping:
Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organization in line with 5S standards.
Communication:
Check emails regularly and respond to operational or testing inquiries.
Team Collaboration:
Work effectively in teams and contribute to a fast‑paced laboratory environment.
MUST HAVE
Must have at least 1 year of laboratory experience, preferably in an analytical chemistry or testing laboratory Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Analytical Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related technical field Must have hands-on experience operating analytical instruments such as HPLC, GC-FID, ICP, IC, XRF, or SEM Candidate should be comfortable working in Aerospace surface Full Metal Pretreatment Process including cleaners, deoxidizers, conversion coatings etc. Should be able to maintain and calibrate complex standard lab equipment and instruments Should have experience performing laboratory testing following SOPs, ASTM methods, QC procedures, or standardized test methods Experience reviewing, analyzing, and documenting laboratory test results Experience with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) Must be comfortable handling chemicals and working in a laboratory environment following safety protocols.
Shift Timings:
8AM-5PM Weekly schedule: M-F CH1
Pay:
$26.00 - $29.00 per hour
