3rd Shift | Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 PM - 6:30
AM Duration:
12-Month Contract Pay rate: $31/hour

Onsite Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Associate Engineering Technician to support testing activities for medical devices, equipment, and consumable products. This role involves executing established test procedures, documenting results, monitoring test progress, and ensuring accurate data collection in a laboratory environment. The ideal candidate can work independently after training, prioritize multiple tasks, and communicate effectively with team members and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Perform pre-defined testing procedures on medical devices, equipment, and consumables. Conduct accelerated life testing and other laboratory evaluations according to established protocols. Accurately record test data, observations, and results in required documentation systems. Monitor and manage testing activities through various stages, including washing, sterilization, and test setup processes. Maintain detailed and organized records while adhering to quality and compliance requirements. Troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, or software-related issues when necessary. Communicate testing status, findings, and priorities with team members and internal stakeholders. Adjust daily priorities and workload independently based on test availability and operational needs. Follow laboratory safety procedures and established work instructions. Required Qualifications Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after training. Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills. Ability to work a consistent overnight shift schedule. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline. Experience in medical device testing, laboratory environments, or regulated industries. Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, or software troubleshooting. Experience using basic hand tools. Experience preparing or maintaining technical documentation in a regulated environment. What Success Looks Like During the first 90 days, successful candidates will: Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in testing and documentation. Effectively manage workload and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Communicate consistently and clearly with team members across shifts. Perform assigned testing activities independently following training. Additional Information This is a hands-on laboratory-based position requiring onsite attendance. Candidates should be comfortable working independently during overnight hours. No travel is required.
