Job Description

•Description•The Hair color lab principal technician position will be primarily focused on formulation, product testing and in-vitro hair testing. All work must be executed in a scientifically sound, safe, and timely manner. + Independently manages work load, delivers tasks in a reliable fashion, and ensures quality content & shared learnings. Clarifies for understanding & prioritization and proactively updates supervisor on status and flags issues / help required. + Generates and records data on repetitive and routine experiments with excellence. + Proficient in calibration, use and maintenance of standard and complex lab / pilot plant equipment. + Assists on making routine batches following defined protocols and routine equipment. + Conducts routine analysis on stability batches. + Conducts physical tests on batch samples vs defined specifications. + Compiles and analyzes test data into technical reports + Develops knowledge of Company culture, resources, processes etc. + Competent in standard lab / pilot plant procedures & policies. + Builds understanding of category. •Qualifications•5+ years of Laboratory experience in test methods, research & development, and/or quality assurance.
Minimum Education Level:
Associate of Science and/or Technology Degree. Experience in developing, executing, and validating complex laboratory tests and feasibility experiments according to established protocols. Proficiency with Word and Excel. Able to compile test data into technical reports, maintain auditable quality records, and communicate issues clearly to management. Experience with technical writing in a scientific field. Effective time management skills. Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours per day) Experience in operation, maintenance, and calibration of scientific instruments and applicable software Willing and able to do some repetitive tasks. Follow Good Laboratory Practices and other regulations, where applicable Maintain a clean and organized lab area, including ordering and stocking of basic raw materials and lab supplies Ability to follow safe lab practices.
