Job Description

Required Education
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical fieldRequired Qualifications/Skills/Experience
  • 1-3 years of demonstrated laboratory experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable working with Excel spreadsheets
  • Ability to accurately preserve and document data
  • Comfortable working with toxic chemicals while following laboratory safety procedures and protocols
  • Ability to stand and work in a laboratory environment for most of the workday
  • Basic experience in a laboratory or workshop setting
  • Understanding of workplace and laboratory safety practicesLaboratory Technician Overview
  • Support laboratory testing and evaluation activities involving thermal interface materials and coatings
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and thermal property testing using established laboratory procedures
  • Collect, organize, and document experimental data with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, to record data and communicate project results
  • Work under the supervision of a Senior Technician or Chemist while demonstrating initiative and independence in daily tasks
  • Maintain laboratory records, notebooks, charts, tables, and reports to support project objectives
  • Follow all laboratory safety procedures and protocols when handling chemicals and testing materials
  • Contribute to a collaborative laboratory environment focused on quality, accuracy, and continuous learningJob Duties
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and thermal property testing of thermal interface materials and coatings
  • Evaluate, collect, and record experimental data
  • Organize and conduct experiments using established procedures
  • Summarize and report results in laboratory notebooks and presentations
  • Enter data and information into computer systems
  • Create charts and tables to communicate project results and details
  • Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and records
  • Follow laboratory safety procedures and chemical handling protocols
  • Work under the supervision of a Senior Technician or Chemist
  • Support laboratory operations and testing activities as assigned
