Job Description

T2 Production Operations - Reagents  Job Description Join our Reagent Manufacturing team where you will play a crucial role in formulating buffers and stock for a range of chemical and biological reagent products. You will be involved in the setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of reagent components and instruments, as well as conducting tests on solutions to ensure they meet production and process specifications. There is also an aspect of raw material testing using techniques such as HPLC and ICP. Responsibilities Follow SOPs and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process while maintaining FDA requirements. Independently execute work related to formulating, filling, testing, and packaging. Apply analytical skills or scientific methods to perform daily tasks. Perform the setup, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of reagent components and instruments. Conduct testing on solutions for pH, conductivity, and density to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Ensure compliance with FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in a science-related field. At least 6 months of laboratory experience, which can include academic experience. Ability to articulate previous experience following SOPs. More than 6 months of titration experience, which can be from school. At least 3 months of industry experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with HPLC and ICP for raw material testing. Strong analytical skills and scientific methods application. Highly independent work capability. Work Environment The work environment includes a large, chemistry-based main lab where tasks follow SOPs for the production of calibrators. The role involves pipetting, functional testing on analytical tests, laboratory work, and some computer-based work/data analysis to ensure specifications are met. The position operates on the 1st shift, Monday through Friday, with a start time between 5 AM and 7:45 AM for an 8-hour shift. The workplace is highly independent, and the location offers beautiful surroundings with walking trails on Lake Hazeltine, as well as convenient access to central Chaska and nearby shops and restaurants. The facility is a 25-minute drive from downtown Minneapolis. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chaska, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.58 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
