Months Job Duties:
Receiving, labeling, and preparing samples for testing, including diluting, filtering, or centrifuging as required Conducting a limited variety of routine laboratory tests following detailed, well-defined procedures Operating, cleaning, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory equipment Recording and organizing test data and results accurately in specified formats Assisting senior lab staff by providing technical support and performing assigned duties under close observation Maintaining laboratory cleanliness and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and guidelines Preparing reagents, stains, chemical solutions, and media according to instructions Participating in quality control checks on equipment and materials Ordering and managing laboratory supplies and inventory Following strict safety and chemical hygiene plans Potentially assisting with specimen collection and slide preparation for microscopic examination
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED 1+ year of experience as Laboratory Technician/Chemist or Microbiologist Nice to have experience in titration' calibration and sterile techniques Must have completed coursework in science or hold an associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field. Travel Required•Only local people near 20 miles of Elk River, MN 55330
Schedule:
Monday•Friday 6:30 AM•3:00 PM Occasionally Saturdays 1/2 days (once per month on average). Usually starts around 7 am on Saturdays and done around 10:00 AM. HC01
Pay:
$20.00 per hour Application Question(s): Candidates must have completed coursework in science or hold an associate or bachelor's degree in a related field.
