Contract•11 months (temp-to-hire intent within 6-12 months)

Schedule :

Day shift. Start as early as 7:30 a.m.; must attend 8:30 a.m. team meeting. Typical end 4:00-5:30 p.m. Job Description Have strong experience in sensory evaluation, stability testing, and panel leadership and a proven ability to plan, execute, and report stability panel results that guide shelf-life decisions.

Responsibilities:

Lead and facilitate stability panel sessions end-to-end, including sample preparation, protocols, ballots, serving plans, and timing. Taste and evaluate all product and ingredient samples for assigned projects. Set up and execute panel evaluations while following defined sensory testing parameters and maintaining strong GMPs. Lead calibration testing with the panel and Stability Scientists. Create concise, timely reporting and documentation to support data-driven decisions about product shelf life. Foster agility through cross-training with other panel leaders and collaborate with team members. Partner with Medallion Laboratories on customer calls, protocol setup in LIMS, invoicing, and project support. Receive samples and coordinate placement into required storage conditions. Support Stability Scientists and contribute to special projects as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

2-year degree, or high school diploma with 3-5 years of related experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, and SharePoint. Comfort in a lab environment and leading panel sessions with 6-8 panelists. High attention to detail with strong organization, collaboration, and partnership skills. Proactive and self-motivated with a commitment to quality work and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Preferred Skills:

B.S. in Food Science or related field, or relevant lab/food industry experience. Familiarity with food shelf-life testing and product sensory evaluation. Training, teaching, or facilitation skills.

Pay:

$27.00•$28.00 per hour
