Consumer Products CW Lab Technician - Lab Tech I We are currently seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician to join our Home Improvement Consumer Products Lab Team. As a Lab Tech, you will play a crucial role in conducting various tests and experiments to ensure the quality and safety of our consumer products. This is a full‐time, in‐person position based at the •Center. The worker will perform physical and/or mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products. This is a very active position that requires a strong work ethic and the ability to keep up in a fast‐paced environment. Key Responsibilities Work with multiple teams to complete prioritized testing across various test methods Prepare materials and organize setups for product testing Assist in laboratory experiments through testing and evaluation of new materials and products based on research Perform mechanical performance tests required for research, development, or quality control Test or perform visual observations on competitor product samples and communicate results to the appropriate requesters Conduct hands‐on testing using multiple pieces of laboratory equipment Basic Qualifications At least 1 year of experience with hands‐on testing Ability to work 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday Ability to perform tests at high repetition Proficient hand‐eye coordination and strong manual dexterity Preferred Qualifications Experience with IMASS, Instron, or Slip/Peel testing Strong organizational skills; self‐motivated and results‐driven Solid interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to adapt to team needs and work with multiple individuals and groups Prior laboratory or manufacturing experience Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word Proven ability to problem‐solve and implement solutions Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and complete tasks with little to no supervision Top Must‐Haves Team‐oriented individual with strong physical mobility and dexterity Good observation skills and excellent communication Ability to adapt and adjust to the team's needs Mindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of - Minority/Gender/Disability/Religion/LGBTQI/Age/Veterans
