This is the same hiring team as req 37191838. The team is open for recent grads. Consumer Products CW Lab Technician - Lab Tech I We are currently seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician to join our Home Improvement Consumer Products Lab Team. As a Lab Tech, you will play a critical role in conducting tests and experiments to ensure the quality and safety of our consumer products. This is a full‐time, in‐person position based at the •Center. This is a highly active role that requires a strong work ethic and the ability to keep up with a fast‐paced environment. The worker will perform physical and/or mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products. Key Responsibilities Prepare materials and organize setups for product testing Assist in laboratory experiments through testing and evaluation of new materials and products based on research Perform mechanical performance tests for research, development, or quality control purposes Conduct visual observations and testing on competitor product samples and communicate results to appropriate stakeholders Perform hands‐on testing using multiple pieces of laboratory equipment Move, arrange, sort, and hang product testing weights (2 lbs-20 lbs) Basic Qualifications High school diploma Ability to work 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday Ability to lift and carry at least 25 pounds Ability to lift and carry 5‐pound weights at high repetitions Ability to use a ladder or step stool to work from elevated surfaces Proficient hand‐eye coordination and strong manual dexterity Preferred Qualifications Strong organizational skills; self‐motivated and results‐driven Solid interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to adapt to team needs and work with multiple individuals and groups Prior laboratory or manufacturing experience Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word Proven ability to problem‐solve and implement solutions Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and complete tasks with little to no supervision Top Must‐Haves Team‐oriented individual with strong physical mobility and dexterity Good observation skills and excellent communication Ability to adapt and adjust to the team's needs Mindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of - Minority/Gender/Disability/Religion/LGBTQI/Age/Veterans
