Job Description

The Company:
Whitney Sleep Diagnostics & Consultants has been providing comprehensive sleep medicine services to patients for the past 15 years. Our mission is to serve patients who live in areas where access to sleep medicine would not be available without our presence. We partner with hospitals in rural areas throughout the Midwest to provide the same level of care that is typically found only in major metropolitan communities.
The Position:
We are seeking a full-time Sleep Technologist to work at our Southwest Wisconsin hospital partners. The ideal candidate will be located near these hospitals or willing to travel to perform overnight sleep studies.
Professional Licensing/Certification Requirement:
Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) Registered Respiratory Therapist-Sleep Disorder Specialist (RRT-SDS) Preferred Experience Working with Alice 6 diagnostic system Set-up of complete sleep study diagnostic equipment Scoring sleep studies to completion Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive sleep studies and diagnostic evaluations to assess patients' sleep patterns and disorders. Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring adherence to medical terminology and protocols. Provide patient care and education regarding sleep medicine and treatment options. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate documentation of patient records. Perform physical examinations and assist in respiratory therapy as needed. Additional Requirements Valid US driver's license Current CPR/BLS Certification Traveling 100% of the time; Hotel stays as appropriate (company vehicle and CC provided) Strong medical/sleep medicine background Experience using electronic health records (EHR) Knowledge of HIPAA policies and guidelines Proficient in operating computers Ability to work independently while providing excellent patient care Lifting/Pulling/Pushing 50+ lbs. of equipment Why should you apply?
