Job Description

Job Title:
Lab TechnicianJob Description This position involves collaborating with the R D and technical teams to develop, modify, and test products tailored to meet marketing, customer, and project targets within the electronics market space. Responsibilities + Conduct chemical batch making and testing of laboratory development samples. + Support the development and introduction of new products, assist in commercialization, and contribute to the development of application methods. + Work primarily with polyurethane technologies, while also gaining exposure to other chemistries such as UV, acrylics, and epoxies. + Formulate or modify adhesive samples to meet specific project, market, or customer requirements. + Measure the quality of samples using standard and customer-specific benchtop, analytical, and physical testing techniques. + Document project progress using project management methodologies. + Assist with general laboratory safety and housekeeping duties, including adherence to guidelines and 5S principles. + Maintain a safe and clean laboratory environment in shared locations. Essential Skills + Experience with material testing, sample preparation, and mixing raw materials. + Ability to manage or run a project independently or with minimal support. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associate Degree in a Scientific Discipline such as Materials Science or Chemistry, or equivalent hands-on experience. Work Environment The position is within the Hygiene division, known for its collaborative team culture. The team practices open communication and continuously seeks to enhance their skills and knowledge. Senior scientists are enthusiastic mentors who enjoy coaching new members. The lab environment requires adherence to safety and cleanliness standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Saint Paul, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
