Pay Rate:
$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Overview:
The successful candidate will apply strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to developing specialized nonwovens processes and products. Specific experience working with roll-to-roll web processing, fiber processing and compounding is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and desire to excel in a team-based environment are critical to success.
Responsibilities:
Configuring, operating, and maintaining pilot-scale process equipment (nonwovens focus) Measuring the properties of and characterizing nonwoven materials off the production line Detailed record keeping and communication of technical work and results Following and developing standard operating procedures Maintaining a safe and organized work environment Material handling, including lifting pails, moving pallets, and completing other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma/GED or higher is required At least one (1) year technician experience in a private, public, government or military environment At least one (1) year experience on manufacturing equipment or in a trades role Work requires being able to lift 50 lbs. Work environment requires steel-toe shoes, and may require hearing protection, and/or respiratory protection
Preferences:
