Polysomnographic Technician

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, Missouri, is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technician for the Sleep Lab. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities, and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, rehab therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department:

The Sleep Lab at CMH performs diagnostic sleep studies and EEG's to assist physicians in the diagnosis of sleep-related disorders.

A typical day will include:

Reviewing orders, medications, and medical histories of pending sleep studies Performing pre-test set up and maintenance of equipment, supplies, and forms Greeting patients and directing them to appropriate locations Providing patients with pre-testing instructions and demonstrations Completing scoring and reporting of studies for final interpretation by the Medical Director Keeping lab and patient rooms clean and welcoming

RPSGT Eligibility Experience:

One year of experience providing testing services in a hospital setting preferred

Patient care, organizational, computer, and interpersonal skills
