Lab Specialist About the Job Arthrex St. Louis, a local agency of Arthrex Inc, is an orthopedic company who sells surgical implants and services orthopedic physicians, surgery centers, and hospitals. We are currently looking to fulfill the role of Lab Specialist in our Chesterfield, Missouri office. The Lab Specialist is responsible for assisting the Lab Manager with scheduling and running local labs in our office in Chesterfield. This position works closely with Lab Manager to record all labs in our offices in Chesterfield and Columbia in MedTrac tracking system. The Lab Specialist will work with managers to make sure they have everything they need in order to educate local HCPs on the safe and effective use of Arthrex products. The candidate must possess the following: Great time management skills Exceptional organization and communication skills Must have the ability to problem solve and demonstrate analytical skills Must have the ability to be proactive and self-guided Must present the utmost attention to detail Lab experience of 1-2 years, preferred Full-time position Health benefits Paid Time Off 401k Duties and Responsibilities.: Work closely with the Lab Manager on the following: Inventory Check of Implants and MedSource Products Coordinate with Restore for Life for Cadaver Pick-Up o Cadavers are in correct bag and labeled o Organize which cadavers are ready to be picked up Clean-up after each lab and clean and organize the lab at least once a week Lab Preparation - Prior to Labs o Thaw out Cadavers in appropriate amount of time o Hang Cadaver (if applicable) and have appropriate instrumentation available Make sure JotForms are filled out appropriately and follow up with the Columbia office weekly to ensure all lab events and HCPs are recorded per compliance. Cadaver & Sample inventory and reorder as needed Order surgical trays from corporate Arthrex in a timely manner and return after completed labs.
