Lab Tech

Job Description A client of Insight Global is seeking a Lab Technician to join their Transformation Transfer Group within their Crop Science division. This role supports high-throughput molecular biology workflows that drive innovation in plant transformation and gene editing. The technician will be responsible for preparing and processing DNA samples, using sterile technique, and executing genotyping protocols to support downstream breeding and research efforts. The position plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely data generation that feeds into the crop development pipeline. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, comfort working in a fast-paced lab environment, and the ability to manage multiple tasks across both automated and manual processes. A background in life sciences—such as an associate's or bachelor's degree—is preferred, though experience in lab, pharmacy tech, or high-volume service roles is also valued.
