Job Description

Category Laboratory - Medical Technologist Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled laboratory professional with experience as a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Technician. This position involves collaboration within a dynamic healthcare setting, performing laboratory analyses that directly impact patient care.
Schedule:
Contract position (duration provided during interview) Specific scheduling details to be provided
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field Current certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) through an accredited agency (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent) Previous clinical laboratory experience preferred Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail Proficiency with laboratory equipment and standard testing procedures Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Effective verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
Perform accurate and timely analysis of laboratory specimens across multiple disciplines (chemistry, hematology, microbiology, etc.) Operate and maintain laboratory instruments in accordance with established protocols Evaluate and validate test results, recognizing discrepancies and taking corrective action as needed Document all procedures and quality control activities in compliance with regulations Work collaboratively with medical staff and support personnel to deliver high-quality results Participate in continuing education to maintain certification and stay updated on industry advancements This position offers a dynamic environment with opportunities to expand your clinical laboratory expertise.
