Medical Laboratory Assistant Location:
Hamilton, Montana | Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week Ready to launch or grow your career in healthcare while surrounded by the natural beauty of Montana? Bitterroot Health is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our team in Hamilton-a place where your work matters and your surroundings inspire. About the Role As a Medical Laboratory Assistant, you'll be an essential part of our clinical team-performing a variety of lab duties with precision and care. From phlebotomy to sample processing, your work will directly support accurate diagnostics and exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Perform venipuncture and waived to moderately complex lab testing + Execute phlebotomy procedures with safety, skill, and compassion + Process samples, manage order entry, and assist with phone coverage + Collect patient information and ensure awareness of hospital policies + Provide coverage across all shifts as needed
Qualifications Required:
+ High school diploma or GED + Medical Laboratory Assistant Certification or equivalent degree + Strong communication skills (English required; additional languages a plus) + Proficient computer skills
Preferred:
