Specimen Technician

Job Description We are seeking Specimen Processing Specialists/Lab Assistants to support our consumer genetics group during its peak season and assist with a special project. You will be part of a team dedicated to helping people discover their ancestry and understand their genetic health risks. Responsibilities Receive, stage, and aliquot specimens for testing. Perform required QC/QA duties including error detection, maintaining records/logs, and pulling samples for rework. Essential Skills Specimen collection Patient information management Inventory handling Labelling Specimen processing Data entry Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in sample preparation and accessioning is a plus. Prior lab experience is advantageous, but not mandatory. Work Environment You will work in a lab setting, discarding old samples and preparing samples for shipment to another biobank. Shift Monday

• 4:30 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Burlington, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00
