Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) to support overnight and daytime sleep-related clinical research activities on a PRN basis. The
PRN RPSGT
will assist with the setup, monitoring, scoring support, and documentation of sleep studies conducted as part of FDA-regulated , sponsor-funded clinical trials. This role is ideal for a sleep technologist who enjoys a collaborative research environment and values high-quality patient care, protocol compliance, and accurate data collection. The ideal candidate is adaptable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced research environment involving investigational therapies, devices, and sleep medicine protocols. What We Offer Flexible PRN scheduling Collaborative Clinical Research environment Opportunity to participate in innovative sleep research studies Competitive pay rate based on experience Schedule PRN/as needed based on study volume and participant scheduling Overnight availability required Responsibilities Preparing and calibrating polysomnographic equipment according to study protocols and AASM standards Conducting overnight sleep studies and related procedures Applying electrodes and sensors accurately while ensuring participant comfort and safety Monitoring participants during sleep studies and troubleshooting technical issues as needed Identifying and responding appropriately to participant needs or safety concerns during monitoring Documenting observations and adverse events appropriately Maintaining accurate and complete documentation Collaborating with investigators and coordinators to ensure protocol compliance Assisting with data collection and scoring support Maintaining cleanliness and organization of sleep lab and equipment Ensuring adherence to GCP, HIPAA, OSHA, FDA, sponsor protocol, and site SOP requirements Experience and Knowledge Minimum 1 year of polysomnography experience preferred but not required Experience in clinical research or research protocols preferred but not required Strong technical troubleshooting and documentation skills Excellent communication and patient interaction abilities Ability to work independently during overnight shifts Proficient with sleep diagnostic software systems Required Qualifications Current RPSGT credential Current BLS/CPR certification Join us in advancing medical knowledge through innovative research while ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
