Graham Personnel Services is seeking a Lab Technician for our client in Greensboro. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in customer service, a medical setting, and administrative support. You will play a key role in supporting daily operations at a collection site by assisting clients, performing specimen collections, and ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service by handling incoming calls, answering inquiries, and scheduling appointments using established scripts. Conduct outbound follow-up and service promotion calls. Maintain professional, customer-focused experience for all clients.
Medical Setting Responsibilities:
Perform certified specimen collections (urine, alcohol, saliva, fingernail, hair follicle, and DNA). Conduct on-site and post-accident testing using rapid screening devices. Follow proper procedures for handling biological specimens and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
Administrative & Office Support:
Complete chain of custody documentation and ensure accuracy in all records. Package specimens and coordinate shipment through approved couriers. Collect payments and complete required forms. Report test results according to established protocols. Maintain client records, logs, and testing files. Monitor inventory and restock testing supplies as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
Perform both on-site and off-site collections at client locations. Participate in after-hours and on-call testing 2-3 times per week based on business needs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Experience working in a medical setting or healthcare-related environment is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, email) and web-based systems. High attention to detail and accuracy in administrative documentation. High School Diploma required. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical tasks. Comfortable working with biological specimens and cleaning solutions. #PROF26
