Lab Assistant

Carolinas Fertility Institute, the Southeast's premier Fertility Clinic, is currently seeking a Lab Assistant to join the Winston Salem Embryology Lab. This is a science-based assistant that will carry out administrative duties and assist the Embryology team. The job includes extensive data entry, calling patients, and assisting embryologists where needed. The position requires frequent early morning and weekend work and Lab Assistants may work twelve+ days in a row. The ideal candidate will have collegiate research experience or lab assistant experience in a biology, veterinary science, chemistry, or anatomy lab. The candidate should also be accustomed to long working hours under pressure and deadlines. The job requires a Bachelor of Science degree (Biology, Chemistry, Reproductive Technologies with a 3.75 GPA or higher) with 2+ years of experience or an MS degree in Biochemistry, Biomedical, or similar field of study. Preferential consideration will be given to Master degree candidates. This position is not for the faint of heart.
