Job Description

Creedence Energy Services is an oil and gas chemical company servicing the Bakken and Permian basins. We deliver robust production chemical programs formulated by our experienced technical team. Creedence has an opening for a Lab Technician in our state-of-the-art laboratory located in Williston, ND . We are looking for safety-focused team players to join our team!
Job Title:
Laboratory Technician FLSA Status:
Non-Exempt, hourly Job Summary Perform quality control tests on customer product samples. Expectations Expected to follow established procedures and comply with safety regulations. Must be able to work at a fast pace. Self-motivated, organized and effective communicator. Works under direct supervision. Proper use of safety equipment and protective gear. Essential Duties•other duties as assigned Conduct water analyses Perform quality control tests Assist with testing and calibrating lab equipment Maintain clean and safe workspace Analyze data and report results Recognize and report safety issues
Qualifications Education/Experience:
High school graduate or GED. Previous lab experience beneficial.
Certifications/Licenses:
None required. Physical Requirements•Lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds chest high, short distances. Must be able to reach, push, pull, and grasp with arms and hands. Will require daily standing, crouching and/or kneeling, sitting, and walking. Must be able to talk, hear, see and smell. Work Environment•Indoor laboratory conditions to include potential exposure to harmful chemicals, dust, odors, fumes, oil and gases, although this type of work is conducted under a fume hood. Noise level is typically moderate, occasionally loud.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, interpret and understand documents such as safety rules, safety data sheets (SDS's), operating instructions and procedure manual. English language fluency in reading, writing and speaking. Computer Skills•Efficiently navigate a web browser, mobile applications, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Word, SharePoint, and Access), and electronic timesheets. Work Ethic•Be trustworthy, dependable, respectful, and truthful with a commitment to safety and excellent customer service.
