Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Laboratory Technician to join our client's team in the light industrial/manufacturing sector. In this role, you will contribute to delivering safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to customers, performing quality assurance tests on company products, preparing laboratory reports, and providing technical support during additive selection and fluid design. Responsibilities Deliver safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to customers. Identify opportunities to improve service delivery. Perform quality assurance tests on company products. Prepare laboratory reports prior to service delivery at the wellsite. Provide advanced technical support during additive selection and fluid design. Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time. Ensure that laboratory equipment is in clean, working condition and that waste is regularly disposed of. Prepare technical presentations for internal and external customers. Perform regular audits to ensure the laboratory operates according to required standards. Assist the Design/Technical Engineer and Product Champions with technical support as required. Perform risk analysis before each task or job to identify and mitigate potential safety or quality concerns. Participate in Service Quality Meetings with customers and improve performance using action plans. Participate in HSE and Quality initiatives. Wear PPE and observe HSE policies. Maintain the required safety training. Requirements Entry-level; no minimum years of experience required, will train. Flexibility, willingness to learn, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong communication skills. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Preferred Qualifications (if any) Experience in a similar role is a plus. Knowledge of laboratory safety standards.

$19.90 per hour
