Medical Laboratory Technician 8560 Foxtail Drive, Lincoln, NE 68526 From $45,000 a year - Full-time From $45,000 a year - Full-time Medical Laboratory Technician Heartland Fertility is a rapidly growing fertility clinic dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based reproductive care. Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to support patients through every stage of their fertility journey. As we expand, we are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician at our satellite clinic in Lincoln who is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and excited to contribute to a high-quality clinical laboratory environment. Position Summary The Medical Laboratory Technician plays a critical role in supporting fertility treatments by performing laboratory testing and procedures with accuracy, consistency, and adherence to regulatory standards. This role works closely with physicians, embryology, nursing, and clinical staff to ensure timely and reliable laboratory results that directly impact patient care. Key Responsibilities Perform clinical laboratory testing in accordance with established protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements Accurately analyze, document, and report laboratory results Maintain laboratory equipment, perform calibrations, and troubleshoot issues as needed Follow quality control and quality assurance procedures Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and HIPAA standards Assist with inventory management, reagent preparation, and documentation Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and staff training Collaborate with clinical team members to support patient care and workflow efficiency Qualifications Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or Bachelor degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field Prior experience in a clinical laboratory setting preferred Experience in women's health or fertility-related testing is a plus (training provided if not) Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills Ability to work independently with confidence and accountability What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off) Tuition reimbursement Full-time consistent daytime schedule, 7AM to 3PM Monday through Friday Supportive, team-oriented work environment The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives
