Research Technologist I

This position will be involved in projects that include next-generation sequencing with primary responsibilities will be conductt next-generation sequencing for characterizing viral and bacterial pathogens. Additional duties include general laboratory maintenance, placing orders for laboratory supplies, interacting with sales representatives and vendors, protocol optimization and development, preparing samples for sequencing and running next-generation, and training new laboratory staff. This position will also require travel to international laboratories to provide training and support.
