Experience with plastics material processing and testing is ideal for this full-time, interim opportunity. Responsibilities of the R D Technician Assist with plastics material development, including chemical mixing, processing, and testing Use a wide range of laboratory equipment and test methods to characterize the material's physical, chemical, and mechanical properties Prepare concise reports on findings Maintain a safe environment Perform additional tasks as assigned Qualifications of the R D Technician Associate degree or equivalent; high school diploma and 2 years of experience as a Laboratory Technician may be considered in lieu of degree 2+ years of related experience Strong attention to detail and safety Basic computer skills including MS Office Experience with plastics material testing (mechanical and thermal properties) and processing (e.g., autoclave lamination) is highly preferred Hands-on laboratory experience is preferred Experience working in an ISO 9001-compliant environment is a plus Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally Please share your resume in confidence for this R D Technician role.
