Microbiology Laboratory Analyst

Company Overview South Jersey Water Test, LLC (SJWT), located in Williamstown, NJ is a successful, NJDEP certified laboratory specializing in the sampling, analysis, and reporting of water samples including drinking water, pools, lakes, and agricultural waters. SJWT owns, operates, and maintains NJDEP laboratory certification for numerous testing parameters, including Organic and Inorganic testing, Wet Chemistry, and Microbiology. Job Description SJWT is seeking to hire a motivated individual that desires to perform Microbiology Laboratory Analysis. More specifically, the work involves microbiology tests on pool, lake, and spa samples using sterile techniques, membrane filtration methodology, and various laboratory documentation skills. Computer skills are mandatory with strong attention to detail to log-in samples and enter data. Some customer interaction will be needed to set up the sampling and communication of results. We will train the qualified candidate. This position is an hourly position that involves a professional commitment to the work. The weekly time commitment is expected to be 3-5 days per week with semi-flexible start and stop times (afternoon and evening hours) to accommodate the project schedules dictated by SJWT's clients. Saturday work may be required occasionally.
