Hours:
Mon-Fri; 8am-4:30pm
Duties/Responsibilities:
Receive and log incoming samples, verifying documentation and labeling accuracy. Prepare samples for analysis following SOPs and safety protocols. Perform basic laboratory tests such as moisture content and water activity. Conduct routine data entry and basic calculations for non-complex analyses. Maintain accurate chain-of-custody and sample tracking records. A Prepare reagents, solutions, and other laboratory materials as needed. Assist in maintaining laboratory inventory and restocking supplies. Clean and maintain laboratory workspaces, glassware, and equipment. Support analysts with non-technical tasks to facilitate laboratory workflow. Follow all applicable state regulations and laboratory SOPs. Maintain accurate records to meet regulatory and quality system requirements. Adhere to safety procedures including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline preferred. Must be 21 or older with a legal NJ driver's license in good standings Experience in a laboratory environment is preferred. Cannabis industry or regulated industry experience is a plus. Must meet the minimum legal age requirement to work with cannabis in the state of operation. Ability to pass a background check in accordance with applicable laws. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive task
