Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lab Technician / R&D Laboratory Assistant specializing in cosmetics to join our innovative research team. In this role, you will support the development and testing of new cosmetic products, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Your expertise will contribute to advancing scientific research, maintaining high-quality control standards, and fostering creativity in product formulation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of cosmetic science, working in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and innovation. Duties Assist in the preparation, formulation, and testing of cosmetic products following established laboratory procedures and safety protocols Conduct microbiological analyses to ensure product safety and quality control compliance Support research activities by collecting, analyzing, and documenting experimental data accurately using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) Perform routine laboratory techniques including histology, molecular biology assays, and other scientific research methods relevant to cosmetics development Maintain strict adherence to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP), and FDA regulations during all laboratory activities Monitor laboratory equipment calibration, cleanliness, and safety standards to ensure optimal operation Collaborate with cross-functional teams on research & development projects, providing technical support for experiments involving animal physiology, veterinary terminology, or clinical laboratory procedures Experience Prior industrial laboratory experience in cosmetics or related fields such as microbiology, histology, or molecular biology is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of laboratory procedures including analysis skills, data collection, and scientific research techniques Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and standard laboratory techniques is essential Experience working within
GLP, CGMP
environments, or FDA-regulated settings will be advantageous Strong math skills for data analysis and interpretation are required Proven ability to work efficiently in a research laboratory setting with attention to detail and compliance with safety standards Join us in pushing the boundaries of cosmetic science!
