What We're Looking For:

You should also be comfortable and confident with the following skills (including but not limited to): Solid knowledge of dental terminology, infection control standards, and OSHA compliance Strong computer skills; Open Dental and Dexis experience preferred Active participation in monthly staff training, morning huddles, and team initiatives Understanding of dental instruments, materials, procedures, and four-handed dentistry Ability to build strong rapport with patients, doctors, and team members Skilled at fabricating high-quality temporaries in a timely manner Taking diagnostic radiographs, intraoral photos, panos & CBCT scans Excellent impression-taking, including pouring, trimming, and polishing study casts Clear and confident communication when discussing treatment options Accuracy in charting and recording treatment information Delivering dentist-directed post-op instructions Strong commitment to quality patient care and customer service Team-minded approach with a willingness to share ideas, support peers, and contribute to office growth Punctual, polished, reliable, and able to demonstrate a strong track record with previous employers Willingness to travel for CE and a commitment to ongoing professional development
Schedule:
We operate on a 4-day work week , but availability Monday through Friday is required. Additional skills a Lab Tech Coordinator should be comfortable performing include but are not limited to; Fabricate dental prosthetics, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and all on 4 - according to dentist specifications and patient needs Utilize CAD software and digital imaging technology to design and create dental restoration Use micrometers and other precision tools to ensure accurate fit and alignment of dental prosthetics Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure proper patient experience Maintain accurate records of patient information, including documenting and record keeping Adhere to strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of patients, staff and work area. Stay up-to-date with advancements in dental technology, materials, and techniques Proficiency in medical imaging software, such as Epic, for digital design and fabrication of dental prosthetics and 3D printing Able to stay on top of daily/weekly cases, communicating with labs, team, doctors and patients Previous experience working in a dental office or laboratory setting is highly desirable but we are willing to train the right Dental Assistant.
