25 Our client is seeking a detail-oriented professional to support reference standard and sample management activities within a laboratory environment. This role is responsible for coordinating sample movement, maintaining documentation, supporting shipments between manufacturing sites, and ensuring materials are available for analytical testing operations.
Key Responsibilities
+ Manage reference standards and laboratory samples, including organization, labeling, tracking, and inventory control.
+ Coordinate approximately 20 weekly shipments of samples and reference materials to internal manufacturing and laboratory sites. + Maintain accurate documentation related to sample handling, movement, and shipping activities. + Work closely with laboratory, manufacturing, shipping, and other cross-functional teams to fulfill sample requests and support testing operations. + Monitor timelines and priorities to ensure requests are completed accurately and on schedule. + Handle chemicals and reference materials in accordance with safety procedures and laboratory guidelines. + Support controlled substance inventory activities, documentation, and compliance requirements when applicable. + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory workspace. + Assist with additional laboratory support activities and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
Required
+ High School Diploma or GED. + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and documentation requirements. + Comfortable working in both laboratory and office environments, with a mix of sample handling and administrative responsibilities. + Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple departments.
Preferred
+ Associate degree in a scientific or technical discipline.
+ Previous experience in a laboratory, chemical manufacturing, sample management, logistics, or regulated environment. + Familiarity with chemical hygiene practices and safe chemical handling procedures. + Experience managing documentation, inventory, shipments, or material tracking systems.
