Job Description
Adirondack Environmental Services, Inc. is excited to invite recent graduates and entry-level chemists, biologists, geologists & environmental scientists to apply for a position with our growing company. As an industry leader in environmental compliance for over 40 years, Adirondack offers a challenging and rewarding career to the right candidate. Located in historic downtown Albany, Adirondack prides itself on our continued service to the Northeast as the largest full-service environmental laboratory in New York State. From microbiology to PFAS, ground well monitoring to Certified Industrial Hygiene and everything in between, Adirondack has the experience and technical expertise to satisfy the demands of the most challenging environmental problem. A successful sample receiving technician must possess the ability to work well with others and independently in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a high level of energy and the ability to adapt to the requirements of the operation, which change throughout the day. Constantly switching from data-entry at a computer to standing and working in the laboratory setting are required. This position is dynamic and challenging, but rewarding for anyone looking to advance their career in this industry. All sample receiving technicians will earn the opportunity to gain training and experience working in the laboratory performing sample preparation and analysis once they are fully trained and proficient in all tasks required by the sample receiving team.
