ABOUT THE ROLE + MEDRITE
Urgent Care is seeking a skilled and reliable per diem lab technician to support our high complexity physician-based laboratory called
IGNITE LABS.
You will play a key role in delivering accurate, timely diagnostic testing results that directly impact patient care. This is a great opportunity to join a growing, fast-paced, urgent care team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Process and analyze patient specimens accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain lab equipment, perform quality control checks, and ensure compliance with CLIA and COLA regulations.
  • Document and report test results in the lab information system and electronic medical record (EMR) in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff and providers to support efficient patient flow.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
  • MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification required (per CLIA and NYS Department of Health regulations)
  • Experience in a physician-based or urgent care laboratory setting is a plus
  • Familiarity with respiratory, UTI, and STI testing panels and point-of-care testing
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently
  • Flexible availability including weekends

$30.00
