Entry Level Lab Technician

Entry-Level Lab Technician Position Overview We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Lab Technician to support daily laboratory and production activities. This is a great opportunity for someone starting their career in a laboratory or manufacturing environment, with hands-on training provided in a regulated setting. Key Responsibilities Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Assist in the safe handling of biological and hazardous materials following established safety guidelines Support routine cleaning, sterilization, and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment and production tanks Prepare glassware, filtration components, and other materials needed for lab and production work Follow established schedules and instructions to assist with production or lab activities Accurately follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines Operate basic lab equipment such as centrifuges, pH meters, balances, mixers, and filtration systems (training provided) Qualifications High school diploma or associate degree in a scientific field (Biology, Chemistry, or related preferred) Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new processes Ability to follow instructions and work in a structured, regulated environment Basic understanding of laboratory safety practices is a plus Familiarity with SAP or similar systems is helpful but not required Additional Requirements Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Good organizational and time-management skills Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orangeburg, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
