$22.00 - $23.00 per hour
Hours:
Monday-Friday 7:30-4:00pm Responsibilities Perform moisture testing using Lighthouse plasma method Conduct analyses of clinical chemistry, critical care, plasma testing, coagulation, and microbiology controls and reagents using automated techniques in accordance with quality standards and GMP requirements Perform automated and manual assays as detailed in departmental/plant SOPs and QC Monographs for raw material, in-process, and finished product testing Interpret test results against specifications and determine whether assays pass or fail Maintain documentation of all work performed in accordance with GMP requirements Perform product stability, proficiency, environmental testing, and water system testing Conduct routine preventive maintenance, general troubleshooting, general cleanliness, and calibration of lab equipment Update departmental SOPs and QC Monographs as directed Perform microbial testing per SOPs and QC Monographs Order required laboratory supplies, reagents, and other consumables Monitor proper storage conditions and expiration dates of materials Dispose of hazardous and bio-hazardous materials following proper procedures Maintain retain samples in accordance with established procedures Maintain statistical process control charts and other tracking reports Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Medical Technology 3-6 months of research experience (academic, internship, co-op) or industry experience Ability to perform automated and manual laboratory tests Strong documentation skills in accordance with GMP standards Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of lab equipment Familiarity with SOPs and QC Monographs Excellent organizational and monitoring skills for storage conditions and expiration dates Knowledge of hazardous waste disposal procedures System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
