Responsibilities:
Performs complex dry laboratory research activities, planning and conducting a complete project of limited scope or a portion of a larger and more diverse project. Sets up and operates equipment. Modifies methods and techniques, records, computes, and analyzes test data. Prepares programs, specifications, designs, charts, graphs, tables, and illustrations, may assists in preparation of materials for publication.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
In accordance with broadly-outlined objectives, requirements, and approaches, plans and conducts technical procedures, non-routine and complex in nature. Sets up and operates sophisticated equipment or instrumentation. Constructs major units of equipment. With latitude for modifying methods and techniques, records, computes, and analyzes test data. Prepares test reports and makes recommendations. May review, analyze, and integrate technical work of others. Assists in psychology, sociology or education studies and experiments involving human/animal subjects. Prepares computer programs, schematics, specifications, designs, charts, graphs, tables, illustrations, and photographs. May assist in preparation of materials for publication. May perform specialized duties in process or service laboratories, such as photography/illustration services. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
