AMP Nutraceuticals is dedicated to manufacturing high-quality health and wellness products. We are committed to ensuring every aspect of our operations exceeds customer expectations through innovation and testing. We are expanding and are looking for a skilled QC Lab/Documentation Technician to join our dynamic team.
Job Overview:
The Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of analytical and QC tests on raw materials and finished product samples. This role involves documentation control, operating lab equipment, keeping an inventory of chemical reagents, and analyzing data accordance to established GMP Procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Analytical Testing:
Perform routine chemical analyses of raw materials, in- process samples, and finished products using techniques such as FTIR and wet chemistry methods. 
Sample/Reagents Preparation:
Prepare samples and reagents accurately and efficiently, following established protocols. 
Data Analysis:
Interpret and record test results, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings to the Quality Control Manager 
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and organized records of all experiments, tests, and procedures in lab notebooks and logbooks. 
Equipment Maintenance:
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment. 
Compliance:
Adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), GLP (Good Laboratory Practices), and company safety guidelines to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
Qualifications:
Education:
Associate's degree or higher in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field. High School diploma will be considered based on the experience. 
Experience:
Previous experience working in a laboratory environment, preferably in the dietary supplements or pharmaceutical industry. 
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in analytical techniques and lab equipment. Basic understanding of chemistry principles and laboratory safety practices. 
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. 
Communication:
Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Physical Requirements:
 Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.  Comfortable working with chemicals and hazardous materials in a lab environment.  Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
