Summary Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. (Specific rate to be determined, but not limited to, geographic location, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data).
Pay Rate :

The analytical work required will include using: TOC analyzer, ICP-MS, Ion Chromatography and particle measurement instruments for high purity hydrogen peroxide products.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand and follow all general safety and quality requirements Perform lab analysis, process monitoring, and lab experiment formulation. Maintain Clean Room following appropriate protocols Develop/update lab procedures Operate and maintain ICP-MS for trace contaminants in raw material and finished product
QC Lab:
reagents standardization, general instrumentation calibrations & troubleshooting, data entry SAP work, packaging and shipping samples for customer requests, etc. Maintain lab stores for reagents, gas cylinders, Argon etc.
High Purity Hydrogen Peroxide Production Support:
testing Hydrogen Peroxide samples for retest or validation; manage retain inventory including incoming and outgoing samples
Technical:
run experiments, analyze, and data entry to support technical projects, special tests needed by the site, etc. Maintain lab related electronic systems including and data entry for LIMS, DataParc, SAP and customer required systems (for COA management as example) Manage the SPC program for the site Provide environmental analytical support Drive continuous improvement by looking for ways to improve key measurements and work processes Participate in safety or quality investigations, process hazard analyses, or failure and effects mode assessments as needed. Complete assigned action items in a timely manner Perform housekeeping in all lab areas as needed to keep a safe and healthy environment which supports a high purity operation
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry preferred Mathematics, communication and organizational skills Computer operation (spreadsheets, documents, SAP, web portals, etc.) Familiarity with Chemical Manufacturing is preferred The Evonik Group adopts an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) approach.
