Overview Accepts and processes tissue specimens in the Auto-technician or by hand. Embeds, cuts and stains tissue blocks. Covers and labels histological slides. Does "special" stains in accordance with experience and by assignment. Maintains exact identification and running records of all accessions. Attends to daily inspection of working equipment. • Some laboratory experience is desirable.

• Medical Lab Technician
• High School or GED
