PRACTICE OPPORTUNITY

• Located in a suburban community about 30 minutes from Manhattan, several Medical Lab Technicians|Technologists are needed.

Work Schedules:

• Full and Part-Time Shifts available
• Nights and Day Shifts available
• Per Diem
• Candidates with work experience are preferred.

However, they are flexible and open to new graduates.

Requirements:

• Must either have or apply for a New York State License and Registration as a Certified Clinical Laboratory Technician -Technologist.

Duties|Responsibilities for the

Lab Technician:

• Use stain slides with microscope to identify microorganisms.
• Perform procedures and exams following the hospital's protocol
• Follow quality control procedures
• Log equipment and temperatures
• Check air cylinder tanks as well as the PH of solutions.
• Tissue culture examination
• Entering appropriate data according to protocols is needed.
