Nurse Practitioner - Physician Assistant Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Sleep Disorders healthcare team. This position plays a crucial role with a focused delivery of compassionate care to improve the patient's sleep quality, overall well-being and health outcomes. Our sites are located in Kenwood & Eastgate Ohio. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine physical signs of sleep disorders. Develop and manage treatment plans based on diagnosis Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) or Bi-level Positive Airway Pressure (BIPAP) Patient Education on the importance of sleep hygiene and lifestyle changes that can improve sleep quality. Discuss risks and management strategies for chronic sleep disorders and associated comorbidities (e.g., cardiovascular disease, diabetes, depression) Follow-up with and Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on effectiveness. Schedule follow-up visits to assess sleep quality and adjust devices (e.g., CPAP) as needed. Work closely with sleep physicians to provide comprehensive care for patients with complex disorders. Documentation and Compliance Skills Hands-on experience in patient management. Competence in monitoring vital signs. Experience with sterile processing techniques to ensure safety standards are met. IV insertion techniques. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. While prior experience in Sleep is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate on the key aspects of Sleep Disorders/Medicine. $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
